Background

Youth Empowerment Foundation Malaysia (YEF MSIA), formerly known as Yayasan J’Keb Malaysia (Yayasan J'Keb), was founded in 2009 and registered with the Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU), Prime Minister's Department, Putrajaya by the late Che Rozi Azrul Che Aziz with the intention of providing a temporary alternative transit home and support system for the teenagers who have no family, home or a place to go after reached the age of 18 years old; in which requires them to leave the government welfare homes or orphanage institutions.

After the management transition in June 2019, the management of YEF MSIA agreed that all programs hosted be extended to underprivileged teenagers from privately owned orphanages, community orphanage centres, and any family with poverty issues. The decision has been officially stipulated in Surat Ikatan Amanah, governed by BHEUU.

Founder Information

EN NAZRI MD JAIS

Mohd Nazri, is the only one best friend of Allahyarham. He was appointed as a co - founder before Allahyarham passed away. Currently he is working with Proton in Melacca City. He has given full mandate to YEF MSIA Board of Trustees and Management to continue the legacy left by Allahyarham Rozi Azrul Che Aziz.

The late Che Rozi Azrul Bin Che Aziz was raised in Rumah Kanak - kanak (RKK) , Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) since he was nine years old and he successfully obtained a Degree in Engineering (Molding) from German-Malaysia Institute, Kuala Lumpur. He passed away on 14th February 2019 at the age of 33 years old due to lung complication at Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) Kuala Lumpur.

Targeted Beneficiaries

Our chosen beneficiaries are all with an underprivileged background in the country. They are either orphans from orphanages with no family or those from the B40/Asnaf families. Some of them have to forgo their schooling or their tertiary education due to poverty. They are willing to work as a cheap labour to help the family earn a living.
