YEF MSIA Ramadan Project
The Youth Empowerment Foundation Malaysia (YEF MSIA) Ramadan Project is an annual initiative designed to bring joy, support, and relief to underprivileged communities during the holy month of Ramadan. Embracing the values of generosity and compassion, this project focuses on providing essential aid to orphans, asnaf families, and marginalized youth, helping them observe Ramadan and celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with dignity and peace of mind.
Throughout Ramadan 2025, YEF MSIA successfully carried out several impactful initiatives under the Ramadan Project umbrella, including:
Infaq Iftar – Providing nutritious meals for breaking fast to orphans and underprivileged communities.
Infaq Al-Quran – Distributing copies of the Quran to mosques, tahfiz centers, and individuals to encourage spiritual growth.
Ramadan Groceries – Supplying essential food items and household necessities to help families prepare for iftar and sahur throughout the month.
Fidyah Beras – Coordinating the distribution of rice in accordance with fidyah obligations, supporting families in need.
These programs reached multiple communities across different regions and were made possible through the generosity of the public and corporate sponsors. Through collaborative efforts, a total donation of RM 32,038 was successfully raised, enabling YEF MSIA to implement all planned activities and bring much-needed relief during this sacred time. YEF MSIA also successfully reached and positively impacted over 820 beneficiaries throughout the program, ensuring they were able to observe Ramadan with greater ease and dignity.
Beyond material assistance, the Ramadan Project also served as a platform to strengthen community bonds, inspire hope, and promote a culture of giving. Volunteers and donors came together with a shared purpose—to uplift those in need and embody the true spirit of Ramadan.
This initiative remains a vital part of YEF MSIA’s broader mission to empower underprivileged youth and families, not just through education and development, but also through compassion and care during meaningful times of the year.
Thank you to all our generous donors, sponsors, and volunteers for your unwavering support. Your kindness made this Ramadan more meaningful for many—and we are deeply grateful.
